Kur ikja larg drejt teje vija,
Kur vija afer ikja shpejt,
Per dreq me trembte largesia ,
Dhe afersia aq per dreq.

As vete se di se si te desha,
Nje mjegull pus nje turbulli,
Si nje poet qe shkruan vjersha,
Dhe c`del nga vjershat nuk e di.

Dhe ndoshta kjo ish dashuria ,
Ne shpirtin tim ne syte e tu,
Per derq na trembte largesia,
Dhe afersia gjithashtu...
